Administrative Transfers
Student referrals must be made by the student's home school administrator.

Please acquaint yourself with the following information prior to referring a student to ROE #40 ACE Programs. It is understood by the parents, student, and referring school district that when it becomes necessary to dismiss a student from ACE, the following is true and in accordance with Safe Schools Law (105 ILCS 5/13A):

Please acquaint yourself with the following information prior to referring a student to ROE #40 ACE Programs. It is understood by the parents, student, and referring school district that when it becomes necessary to dismiss a student from ACE, the following is true and in accordance with Safe Schools Law (105 ILCS 5/13A):
- Expulsion-eligible or suspension-eligible student’s due process has been served by the referring district; and
- The disciplinary status of the student that is in place at the District level at the time of transfer (expulsion, suspension, etc.) remains in place upon dismissal from ACE.
Transfer Procedures
To refer a student to ACE Programs, the home school administrator must:
After the required forms have been received by ACE Programs, an intake will be held between the referred student and parent/guardian and ACE personnel prior to a student being accepted for enrollment. At this conference, the policies and procedures of the program will be reviewed, and participants (students and parents/guardians) will sign contracts of intent to comply with those stated policies.
Note to referring administrators:
Upon the student's acceptance to the program, the RCDTS code must be changed by the referring school to reflect ROE #40 RSSP as the serving school.
Referrals due to Truancy and/or Credit Recovery:
ACE - Macoupin 40-000-0000-00-9201 ACE - Greene 40-000-0000-00-9202
Referrals that are behavior-related (suspension- or expulsion-eligible):
ACE - Macoupin 40-000-0000-00-9301 ACE - Greene 40-000-0000-00-9303
- Call the program and speak with the Director/designee to confirm that a spot is available; and
- Complete and submit a Student Referral Packet with records as specified:

- Teacher course assignment, student course assignment, and final grades will be reported in IWAS by the ROE #40.
Monthly attendance data will be reported in IWAS by the home school district. - Testing arrangements for IAR, ISA, PSAT, and SAT are the responsibility of the referring school district.
- Instruction arrangements for Drivers Education are the responsibility of the referring school district.
